Remote Onboarding · Nationwide

Your compliance department — wherever your practice is.

Sentinel is headquartered in Houston and manages recurring compliance administration for independent medical and dental practices nationwide. Onboarding is remote. Sentinel tracks agreed work, requests and reviews records, follows up and communicates unresolved items; your Command Center shows what is being managed.

Compliance management was never really local.

The recurring administrative work does not stop at a state line: tracking agreed obligations, requesting training and credential records, following up and recording what remains open. Sentinel manages that work within your service agreement. The requirements that apply to your practice still depend on its location, activities and circumstances.

The Command Center is your view into the work Sentinel manages and the supporting record. Your practice supplies information, makes decisions and implements the actions that require its people or providers. Sentinel maintains the administrative record and makes missing information and open work visible.

What remote looks like in practice.

Remote onboardingRosters and documents in through a secure portal; your record built and walked through on video
Monthly exclusion screeningFederal OIG and SAM lists, run automatically from your roster, with a dated record each run
Policy & training trackingVersioned policies, acknowledgments, and training completion evidence — chased, not just dated
Credential & CE evidenceLicenses, registrations, certifications — the certificate on file, not just an expiration date
Scoped evidence on requestHeld records organized for an authorized request, with dates, review limits and known gaps stated

The honest boundaries.

Texas practices get two Texas-specific layers: our HB 300 training-clock module and screening against the Texas HHSC exclusion list. For practices in other states, state-level requirements are verified against primary sources before they enter your record — never assumed, never copied from another state, and never stated as law unless the rule actually says so. On-site onboarding remains available across Greater Houston for practices that prefer it.

Common questions from out-of-state practices.

Do you work with practices outside Texas?

Yes. Sentinel is headquartered in Houston and onboards practices across the U.S. remotely. We confirm the agreed administration and the requirements relevant to your practice. Your team supplies information and handles decisions and implementation; Sentinel manages the tracking, follow-up and supporting record within that scope.

How does remote onboarding actually work?

Through your Command Center and a person behind it. You send rosters and documents through a secure portal; we build your record, run the first screenings, and walk you through everything on a video call. Monthly management — screening runs, reminders, evidence statements — never required anyone to be in the room.

What is different for an out-of-state practice?

Two things, stated plainly. Texas practices get our Texas HB 300 training-clock module and screening against the Texas HHSC exclusion list; those are Texas-specific. For other states, state-level requirements are verified against primary sources before they enter your record — we never assume one state’s rules apply to another, and we never state an interval as law unless the rule actually names one.

Where to start.

Wherever suits you. You can begin managed compliance directly — no assessment is required first: start the conversation and onboarding runs remotely from there. Pricing for ongoing management is published on our homepage: flat monthly tiers by provider count, no setup fees. If what you need is the analysis itself, the standalone Security Risk Analysis — $2,895, published — works entirely remotely. And the optional readiness self-assessment takes 5–10 minutes if you would like to see where you stand first.
